Links to web graphics related pages

There are probably hundreds of pages on the Web that focus on graphics. Keeping track of them is not easy. There were an excellent set on the Ditherbox site, but Ditherbox has been purchased by Adobe Systems and the pages have gone.

There are a few links that are especially worth looking at. These are Joe Gillespie's pages on graphics and palettes (which seem to have disappeared, alas), the Webreference Developers' corner and Andrew King's Webreference page on optimising Web graphics, here. These should be your first ports-of-call if you're just getting into Web graphics, or even if you're an expert.

And please if you discover any particularly good sources of information on Web graphics, and I'll add the link here for others to find.
