There's something very pleasing about the appearance of ferns. Perhaps that's why they make excellent photographic subjects. The following pages are an exploration of the beauty of ferns through photographs. They trace particular themes, with an artistic more than a botanic purpose. I've done my best to retain the beauty of the images, although it's impossible to recreate on the Web the colour and depth of the original photographs. I hope you enjoy them.
